A Regenerative Future

bridging the gap between theory and practice.

We are thrilled to return for the 3rd edition of the Northern Roots Forum. Last year’s event showcased both the science and practice of regeneration at scale. It sparked meaningful dialogue and inspired actionable solutions, bringing together visionaries and practitioners committed to regenerating the environment and climate while cultivating nutrient-dense foods and thriving farming businesses.

This year, we continue our mission to support the emergence of a new generation of agriculture in the Baltic and Nordic regions. The forum will once again serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, fostering constructive discussions in smaller groups and on a national scale. Join us as we build on the momentum and work together to shape the future of agriculture.

Where Soil and Taste meet

SOILtalks x nr

21 January 2026 · UMA Restaurant · 19:00
Hosted by Kerttu Tammik and chefs Peeter Pihel & Kristo Malm

We’re happy to announce that Soil Talks Season II begins right here in Tallinn, at the Northern Roots Forum — and we warmly invite you to join this special dinner event.

For those who work with land, it’s no secret: healthy soil is the starting point of everything. It shapes yield stability, nutrient availability, resilience to stress, and the overall performance of our fields. But soil also reaches far beyond farming — it influences the flavour and quality of food, human health, cultural traditions, and the long-term wellbeing of our landscapes.

Soil Talks brings these connections to the table, opening a wider conversation about why soil matters to all of us — growers, chefs, scientists, and communities alike.
