Harri Lumiste

Harri is a beef cattle farmer from Põlvamaa, running Pari Farm in southern Estonia. Since 1997, Pari Farm has applied rotational grazing, which over time has transformed the pastures—making them more species-rich, productive, and drought-resilient. In contrast, mown grasslands did not show the same results.

In 2022, Harri began actively exploring regenerative agriculture. By gradually integrating previously mown grasslands into the grazing system, he has also achieved increased biodiversity and productivity there—without external inputs. Today, Harri grazes his beef cattle year-round on pasture.
