We are pleased to introduce Grant Sims, a 6th generation farmer and a passionate advocate for Regenerative Agriculture. Grant oversees Down Under Covers, a family-owned business specializing in multi-species cover crops, forages, and custom seed blends. On their 8,500-acre farm, Grant integrates livestock into a comprehensive soil health program, planting 1,500 acres of multi-species blends each year.
 
Grant’s experience has shown that cover crops are a low-risk, low-input strategy for maximizing production both above and below ground, significantly improving soil structure, water infiltration, soil biology, and more. His work has made a profound impact on animal health and farm sustainability.
 

A vocal ambassador for regenerative practices, Grant shares his knowledge widely across the country. In 2015, he was recognized as the Coles Weekly Times Farmer of the Year and has served as the president of the Victorian No Till Farmers Association.
