2 Days. 20 Sessions. 12 Speakers.
The Northern Roots forum focuses on solutions for a future agriculture that regenerates the environment and climate while producing nutrient dense foods and thriving farming businesses.
The aim of the forum is to support the emergence of this new generation of agriculture in the Baltic and Nordic regions. We hope to initiate knowledge exchange while fostering constructive discussions both in smaller groups as well as at the national level.
Learn from pioneers with decades of experience in agroecological and profitable farming. Gain insights, ask questions and go into conversation to take home key knowledge and inspiration.
Live translation from English to Estonian will be available on the main stage. Our aim is to make the event as accessible as possible for all farmers, irrespective of language. In future events we hope to be able to provide live translation into even more languages.
Northern Roots is all about creating connections and exchanging thoughts and ideas. On the evening of the 24th there is the opportunity for all participants to stay at the venue, Kultuurikatel, until 7 pm to eat, drink and mingle.
Some snacks will be available, along with drinks for purchase at your own expense. Join us to meet fellow farmers, reconnect with friends, engage with agriculture stakeholders, and, above all, enjoy some lighthearted fun!
Did you really want to ask the speakers your questions, but didn’t manage to catch them at the main event? No worries, we will be organizing a breakfast session on the morning of the 26th at the Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel. Join Ray Archuleta, Rick Clark, Ben Taylor-Davies, Ed Brown, Steve Kenyon and Tim May for breakfast and ask them questions in an informal relaxed atmosphere.
The hotel fee for the breakfast of €21. Breakfast will be available between 8:30 – 10:00 AM, however we are welcome to stay longer to keep talking. For those already staying at the Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel with breakfast included in their booking no extra fee applies. Please indicate your interest by filling in this form.
Join us for two days of lectures, workshops and engaging conversations. Ask the questions on your mind, discuss your experiences with other farmers and get inspired to regenerate your land, farming business and your mind.
